Evaluation and BENCHmarking of Sensors, Systems and GEOspatial Data in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing

Polskie Towarzystwo Fotogrametrii i Teledetekcji, Deutschen Gesellschaft für Photogrammetrie, Fernerkundung und Geoinformation, Fondazione Bruno Kessler oraz Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy we Wrocławiu zapraszają na międzynarodową konferencję:

GEOBENCH workshop

Jest to międzynarodowa konferencja dotycząca analizy i testowania sensorów, systemów oraz danych geoprzestrzennych w fotogrametrii i teledetekcji. Tematyka wydarzenia w szczególności obejmuje:

• Testowanie i walidację sensorów pasywnych i aktywnych (kamery, skanery laserowe, GNSS, itp.) różnych platform (satelity, samoloty, UAV, UGV, ROV, AUV, MMS).
• Metody i algorytmy testowania (dopasowywanie obrazów, SLAM, PPP/RTK, MVS, generowanie i klasyfikacja chmur punktów, segmentacja obrazów, ekstrakcja cech, wykrywanie obiektów, integracja danych, NeRF, Scan2BIM itp.).
• Propozycje nowych testów dla celów rekonstrukcji 3D i mapowania w leśnictwie, ochronie dziedzictwa kulturowego, przemyśle, rolnictwie, górnictwie, budownictwie, itp.
• Kalibracja geometryczna sensorów i systemów (sensory optyczne, LiDAR/SPL/GM, radar, MMS, robotyka, batymetria itp.).
• Kalibracja radiometryczna sensorów (RGB, termalnych, wielospektralnych i hiperspektralnych).
• Ocena i analizy ilościowe.

Wydarzenie to jest kontynuacją udanych dwóch poprzednich edycji GEOBENCH z Warszawy (wrzesień 2019) oraz Krakowa (październik 2023).

GEOBENCH workshop

This workshop is appropriate for those willing to extend their knowledge in the fields of photogrammetry and remote sensing and to present evaluations of algorithms and sensors in the sector as well as new benchmarks. Workshop topics include:

• Testing and validation of passive/active sensors (camera, scanners, GNSS, etc.) and platforms (satellite, UAV, UGV, ROV, AUV, MMS, airborne, etc.)
• Benchmarking methods and algorithms (image matching, SLAM, PPP/RTK, MVS, point cloud generation and classification, image segmentation, feature extraction, object detection, fusion, NeRF, Scan2BIM, etc.)
• Proposals for new benchmarks for 3D reconstruction and mapping purposes in forestry, heritage, industry, agriculture, mining, AEC, etc.
• Geometric calibration of sensors and systems (optical sensors, LiDAR/SPL/GM, Radar, MMS, robotics, bathymetry, etc.)
• Radiometric calibration of sensors (RGB, thermal, multispectral and hyperspectral)
• Quantitative evaluations and analyses

The workshop is a follow-up of the first successful event held in Warsaw (Poland) in September 2019 and the second edition which took place in Krakow (Poland) in October 2023
